How should I clean my Acrylic jewelry?

Acrylic is a reasonably hard and stable plastic. However some of my designs will have intricate details & contours and should be handled with care. It is important to handle all acrylic jewellery very carefully. Gently wipe off these acrylic pieces with a soft cloth & mild detergent in warm water, rinse and dry off with a soft cloth.

Please avoid contact with perfumes and any other harsh chemical as the contact may damage the surface of the acrylic.


How should I wash/clean my fabric (Wax Print) accessories?

Our choice of Wax print fabrics are 100% cotton however our accessories will include other materials. For stains, Gentle spot cleaning is highly recommended as soon as possible. To clean affected areas, use a dye-free soft cloth, room temperature water and mild, bleach-free detergents (Woolite or Deft brands) or natural mild soap. Blot away excess water and allow to air dry in shade. Prolonged exposure to sunlight could result in fading. Please, Do not immerse in water or Tumble dry on high heat.



How should I take care of my wood/Natural accessories?

Wood, Leather, Bone, Horn etc are all natural materials and all natural material of some kind require care!

Take care not to drop it or sit or step on it! Wood needs to be conditioned, and should be oiled to protect it with jojoba oil, coconut oil or regular wood polish product. This will help to maintain the color and integrity of the material, and may deepen the color slightly.

All Natural materials will change color over time and this may be  due to the natural oils of your skin absorbing into the material as it becomes a part of your daily life, sun exposure and general wear and tear. However, you should still take the time to clean and condition your jewelry. Natural jewelry should never be left in water or direct sunlight (like the bathroom sink or the dashboard of your car). Simply wipe it with a damp soft cloth and allow to air dry. Always keep it in a cool, dry and dark place.
